Sankara - old friends - new venture

We have just come back from filming the launch party for a new EP by Sankara. This is a new venture by two people from Bluehorses and two people from the Reasoning.
In general the venue was not conducive to filming ....  very small and low ceiling, minute stage, limited lighting, sound echoes everywhere, ... in fact everything that I would generally avoid when filming. Butttt ... the music was obviously well rehearsed and the band played very tight. The audience enjoyed it and good times had by all.

We had some technical issues - one of the bullet cams used for the drums failed, and focusing was a nightmare in the light. but we should have some good edits out of it.

Here is a playlist of the two released from this session

Peatbogs at Wickham

We have been allowed to film the Peatbog faeries at Wickham festival this year.

The Peatbogs played a set mainly based around their new album with some old favorites thrown in.Unfortunately Tom (guitar) was not playing due to illness, but apart from some string failure the show appeared to go well.

We had 12 cameras going through the show so we should have some good video, although one of  the cameras on the Drums failed to give a full recording. this same camera failed on the next show so we will be reviewing the technology for the drums.

We have now edited almost all the tracks from the show, some have been used as technical testers to investigate when simple tolls can be used to enhance the end product

Clips will be added once the editing has been done and approved.  This is a series of 10 tunes from the show.

Steph Solo

Steph moved up to producing her own video. She took 3 cameras to a local show by a band made up of her colleagues from college.

This has given her an opportunity to manage the positioning of the cameras and the angles etc..

the resultant videos were then loaded and she went through the process of collating them and matching all the timecodes.

Once some clips are produced we will add some examples below
